Wesleyan University is located in Middletown, Connecticut, midway between New York and Boston. Classes and performances are held at the University's Center for the Arts, a modern complex of music, dance, and art studios, classroom space, a theater, concert hall, art galleries, and libraries. Students have access to all university facilities, including practice rooms, studios, computer labs, darkroom facilities, athletic center, sports fields, and libraries.
The Center's residency encourages personal responsibility and fosters social development in a diverse student community. Supervisory staff includes a live-in Residential Director and counselors with a 10 to 1 student/supervisory ratio. Curfews and residential rules are strictly enforced in the best interest of the students. Three meals with a wide variety of menu choices are offered in McConaughy Dining Hall daily.
Students enjoy full use of Wesleyan's outstanding facilities at the Center for the Arts and modern dormitories and dining hall, as well as extensive libraries, and athletic center. Students also attend Wesleyan's Summer at the Center concerts, films, dance lectures and evening performances, in addition to class trips and lectures by guest artists.
