The CTW Mellon Community

The Executive Committee of the CTW Mellon Project is made of six members, two from each institution. For each school, the representatives include the Dean of Humanities and a language faculty person.

Representing Connecticut College:
 - George J. Willauer, Dean of Academic Programs, Charles MacCurdy Professor of English
 - Janis L. Solomon, German Department Chair.
Representing Trinity College:
 - Ronald Spencer, Dean of the Humanities
 - Kenneth Lloyd-Jones, McCook Professor of Modern Languages and Chairman of the Dep't of Modern Languages.
Representing Wesleyan University:
 - Diana Sorensen, Dean of the Arts and Humanities and Professor of Romance Languages and Literatures.
- Krishna Winston, Chair, German Studies.

Marisa Castagno, the CTW Mellon Technical Specialist for Connecticut College, joined our team in March (visa problems delayed her long awaited arrival.) By now, she feels at home at Conn and knows almost everybody--if you have not met her yet, she will be looking for you this semester. Marisa is a native Italian, with a Masters in Multimedia Technology and Communication from the University of Turin. She spent 1.5 years at Brown University as a Researcher, before coming to CTW Mellon. She is very interested in the use of advanced technology in Humanities: "I am very happy to be part of a project where multi-media are applied to multi-language studies, advancing the appropriate integration of technology in the learning/teaching process."
