Project Report By: Giuliana Palma, Italian, Trinity College
In order to enhance the study abroad experience of all students who are going to spend a semester of their junior year at the Trinity College Rome Campus, we designed a web page containing an anthology of resources about Rome and the other Italian cities the students will visit while in Italy: Venice, Florence, Naples, and Capri. Students are provided with the history of each city; artistic information about its museums and monuments; a calendar of traditional celebrations, and a page with general information about the city and its social life. Students will also find on the main page, the syllabi of some of the courses offered at the Rome Campus with links to web sites containing thorough information about the topics which will be dealt with in the classroom. Finally they are provided with a list of possible ideas for student research projects to be carried out while in Rome. The student research project can be either an independent work or part of a course taken at the student's home institution, or at the Rome Campus. The project, Going To The Rome Campus, is ready to be used and will be experimented during the Fall Term 2000,
