Since many of the projects under the Mellon Grant are consortial in nature, faculty and staff often find it necessary to meet in person on one of the three campuses. This page attempts to provide clear driving directions to Connecticut College, Trinity College and Wesleyan University from each of the other two campuses.

To Connecticut College

From Trinity College:

  1. Take Route 2 out of Hartford.
  2. Change to I-395 South when you get near Norwich.
  3. Take I-395 to Rte. 32 south -- it's a left-side exit.
  4. Connecticut
  5. College will be on the right side of Rte. 32 as you travel south.
  6. The driveway is right after the building with the silver observatory dome on top. The driveway goes up a small hill to a small campus security building on the right side. Ask the security officer where to park.
  7. The Electronic Classroom is in the Neff Computer Lab in Blaustein 108. The Faculty Development Site is located in Blaustein 106.

From Wesleyan University (40 miles, about 50 minutes):

  1. Take Route 9 South to the end.
  2. Take I-95 North (toward Providence).
  3. Get off I-95 at Exit 83 and try to follow the signs to Connecticut College. If the Connecticut College signs aren't there when you need them (a good bet), look for signs directing you to Route 32 north and Norwich.
  4. Once on Route 32, the main entrance to the college is on the left at the second traffic light. There's a left-turn lane, and although there's no green arrow signal and no sign explaining the situation, when the light for the northbound side of Rte. 32 turns green, the light for the southbound side stays red for a few seconds, so you have time to make the turn.
  5. The driveway is right after the building with the silver observatory dome on top. The driveway goes up a small hill to a small campus security building on the right side. Ask the security officer where to park.
  6. The Electronic Classroom is in the Neff Computer Lab in Blaustein 108. The Faculty Development Site is located in Blaustein 106.
