Saving your Eudora Setting for
use on Another Computer
Eudora creates a user settings file, which can be copied to disk.
This allows users to access their setting from any Mac with Eudora.
Note: The instructions below refer to Eudora Light version 1.5.2--other
versions of Eudora may very slightly.
Finding the Eudora settings file:
From the "Apple" menu select "Find File".
Type "Eudora Settings" in the field and click the "Find" button.
In the "Items Found" menu select the "Eudora Settings" file.
Copy this to your disk. You are now ready to use Eudora from your disk.
Using your Eudora disk on another computer:
Put in you Eudora disk.
Click on the "Eudora Settings" file. Note: if this is your first
use of the disk. "Eudora Settings" will be the only file. After the
first time, Eudora will create other files on your disk.
Eudora should open up and you are ready to use the program.
