Join us for WesFest!
April
12-14, 2012

WesFest, an annual campus event, is a three day celebration of all things Wesleyan. We invite all admitted students and their families to visit Wesleyan during this time to experience University life first-hand and explore the diverse opportunities that a Wesleyan education has to offer. Stay for a day, an afternoon... stay as long as you can!

A few of the events that occur during WesFest are planned by the staff of the Office of Admission and WesFest interns. However, many of the activities during WesFest are organized by the larger campus community.

Here is a peek at some of the events that took place during WesFest 2011:

  • Featured Alumni Speakers: Creator of Robot Chicken, Matt Senreich '96 (Friday) and Lawyer and Civil Rights Activist Ted Kennedy, Jr. '83 (Saturday)
  • Tours of campus, the Freeman Athletic Center, Exley Science Center, the Center for the Arts, and the Film Studies Center.
  • An all-campus barbeque where a student band performs live, while students visit student groups at the activities fair.
  • Attend regularly scheduled classes, or special WesFest Seminars taught by Wesleyan faculty.

This is just a snapshot of the many things that you can participate in during WesFest. Check the schedule often for a complete listing, as we are constantly adding to the schedule. Think there is too much to do? Welcome to life at Wes!

Pre-registration for WesFest is not required (except for regular decision students requesting overnight stays). Please stop by the Office of Admission upon arrival to register, pick up a schedule, and say hello! Admissions staff will be on hand from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring an open mind, a desire to have fun, and some spending money (for a Wesleyan t-shirt, meals, or a night out).

We can't wait to welcome you to campus, and hope that you will enjoy your time with us.
