Join us for WesFest!
April 16–18, 2014
WesFest, an annual campus event, is a three-day celebration of all things Wesleyan. We invite all admitted students and their families to visit Wesleyan during this time to experience University life first-hand and explore the diverse opportunities that a Wesleyan education has to offer. Stay for a day, an afternoon ... come celebrate your admission to the Class of 2018.
Many of the activities during WesFest are organized by the larger campus community.
Here is a peek at some of the events on our schedule for WesFest 2014:
- Tours of campus, Exley Science Center, and the Center for the Arts
- The All-Campus Barbeque (with Kosher for Passover Food) where student bands perform live and prefrosh meet student leaders at the Student Activities Fair
- Opportunities to attend regularly scheduled classes or academic departmental open houses
- Mabuhay - A celebration of diversity sponsored by the Asian-Asian American community
- "Homerathon," an all-day reading of Homer's "Odyssey"
That is just a snapshot of the many things that you can participate in during WesFest. Check the schedule often for a complete listing, as we are constantly adding events. Think there's a lot to do? Welcome to life at Wes!
This year WesFest coincides with Holy Week and Passover. The Office of Admission has worked closely with our chaplains, Reverend Tracy Mehr-Muska, Rabbi David Teva, and Father Hal Weidner to provide students with the opportunity to celebrate these sacred holidays while visiting campus. For more information on activities, religious services, Kosher for Passover meals, etc., please contact admission intern, Geneva Jonathan at 860.685.2559, email@example.com or visit the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life pages at Jewish Life at Wesleyan, Protestant Life at Wesleyan, or Catholic Life at Wesleyan.
We can't wait to welcome you to campus, and hope WesFest will be just the beginning of your time at Wesleyan.
Please feel free to contact the WesFest staff with all of your WesFest inquires. Simply call us 860-685-2559 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
