Staying with a Friend or Family Member on Campus
If you have friends/family members at Wesleyan, please feel free to independently arrange housing with the current Wesleyan student. If you are being hosted independently with a Wesleyan student (not through the Office of Admission), you are required to properly register with the Public Safety Office. Wesleyan students should register any overnight guest prior to their arrival to campus and provide all emergency contact information via the guest registration form located in the Electronic Portfolio. All guests under the age of 18 should submit the online visitation form no less than 48 hour before their scheduled visit and should present a signed copy of the parent agreement portion of the form upon their arrival to campus to Public Safety. (Guest Policy: Student Handbook page 25)
WesFest: Meeting Your Host
Meet your host at 5:30 PM at the Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 17th or in Shanklin 107 (Kerr Lecture Hall) on Thursday, April 18th. Your host will take you to their dorm and provide you with a place to sleep. We encourage you to get to know your host and their friends to gain a variety of perspectives on Wesleyan. While on campus, take the opportunity to attend WesFest events, visit classes, and meet your (potential) future classmates. Due to the busy nature of Wesleyan students, your host may or may not be able to accompany you to activities throughout your stay; feel free to explore campus with other admitted students.
