WesBAM (a student run exercise collective) Presents: Tabata
Get ready to get in the best shape of your life. In this class, you will burn calories, build strength, and have a blast. The class works in an interval format, where you perform intervals of 20 seconds "on" of one exercise (i.e. squats or burpees) and then rest for 10 seconds, repeating each interval of a single exercise 8 times. Push your mental and physical limits as you rock out to energizing music and sweat it out! All levels accepted--this class is suitable for anyone from the modest exerciser to the most conditioned.

Racketlon
Join Men's and Women's Squash Coach Shona Kerr to learn about a new sport called Racketlon, which is offered in the Wesleyan Department of Physical Education curriculum. Racketlon combines tennis, badminton, squash, and table tennis into one sport and is racket sports' answer to other combination sports such as triathlon or decathlon. Very commonly played in Europe, opponents play each of the sports to 21 points, and the winner is the person with the highest total points. This class will introduce students to each of the four racket sports and how to play them in combination within the sport of Racketlon.

Rock Wall Climbing
Come learn about Rock Climbing with Drew Black, Head Coach of Wrestling and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. One of the hardest courses to register for at Wesleyan, WesFest visitors will be introduced to the basics of rock climbing on Wesleyan's three indoor climbing walls in the Bacon Field House of the Freeman Athletic Center. Strap on a harness and see if you can make it to the top Mt. Wesleyan.

WesBAM (a student run exercise collective) Presents: Restorative Hatha
Wind down from your busy week with this Friday late afternoon class, which will include meditation, sun salutations, a series of restorative postures and deep relaxation to release stored tension, energize the body, calm the mind and open the heart. In this class we'll bring focus to the breath as the vehicle to tap into the spaciousness and peace of the present moment and practice the art of letting go. Give your body some lovin' and your mind a much needed rest! There will be dim lights and soft music. No yoga experience necessary.
