DIRECTIONS:

Directions from Hartford and points north:  Take I-91 south to Exit 22 for Route 9 southbound. At exit 15, turn right onto Route 66 West (Washington Street) and follow signs for Event Parking.  Parking will be in the Vine Street lot.

Directions from New Haven, New York and points south: Take I-95 North to I-91 North. At exit 18, take Route 691/66 East. Route 66 becomes Washington Street in Middletown. Follow the signs for Event Parking.  Parking will be in the Vine Street lot.  Or, take I-95 north to the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15 North) to Route 66 Eastbound. Follow the signs for Event Parking. Parking will be in the Vine Street lot.

Directions from Waterbury and points west: Take I-84 East. Take exit 27 to Route 691/66 East. Route 66 becomes Washington Street in Middletown. Follow the signs for Event Parking. Parking will be in the Vine Street lot.

Directions from Boston and points northeast: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) West to Exit 9 for I-84 West to Hartford. Take exit 57 over the Charter Oak Bridge and follow the signs to I-91 South. Take I-91 south to exit 22 for Route 9 Southbound, and follow the signs for Event Parking. Parking will be in the Vine Street lot. Or, take I-95 South through Providence, then take Exit 69 to Route 9 North (approximately 26 miles to Middletown). At exit 15, turn left  and follow the signs for Event Parking. Parking will be in the Vine Street lot.

BUS OR TRAIN:

The Peter Pan bus line (800-237-8747) stops in Middletown (runs Fridays and Sundays), with connections throughout the Northeast.

Metro North train line (800-638-7646) connects from New York to New Haven; the Peter Pan bus line connects from New Haven train station to Middletown.

Amtrak train service arrives and departs from Meriden, about eight miles from campus. Call 800-872-7245 for schedules.

AIR:

Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks, CT (approximately 40 minutes from campus).

TAXI:

Airport Express Taxi (860-623-5353 or 860-836-8294) charges $58 (for up to four people) for Bradley International Airport to Middletown or Middletown to Bradley International Airport.  Call for reservations and schedule.

Connecticut Limousine (800-472-5466) makes connections to JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark airports, departing from Hartford and New Haven and Four Points Sheraton, Meriden. Call for reservations and schedule.

Executive 2000 Taxi (800-801-0361 or 860-635-8222), a Middletown cab service, also makes connections to train stations and the airport.  Call for reservation. Charges as of 1/08: $69.60* to New Haven train station, $59* to Bradley International Airport, $42.40* to Hartford, metered rate around $25* to Meriden train station. Accepts all major credit cards.
