Applying to Wesleyan
Home Schooled Students
Wesleyan welcomes applications from students who have been home schooled for some or all of their educational careers. The admission committee evaluates home schooled applicants the same way they evaluate other applicants who attend formal schools.
Home schooled applicants need to submit a clear “transcript” of courses taken in high school, as well as any official transcripts from colleges or high schools. Home schooled students are required to submit ACT results or the SAT and two or more SAT Subject Tests. In addition, home schooled students typically submit additional testing as further demonstration of their academic achievement and/or external validation of their home school curriculum.
