Applying to Wesleyan

Music

The Wesleyan Admission staff will create a folder on the Wesleyan file system for the uploading of your work. When requesting your folder please include your WesID, full name, admission program (ED I, ED II, Regular, Fall Transfer, Spring Transfer) and specific supplement type.  In return, you will receive a special link with upload directions.

Submission Guidelines:

  • The submissions must be brief musical performances.
  • Music submissions are recommended only for candidates with demonstrated musical talent.
  • Please indicate whether music is "vocal," "classical," or "jazz/other."
  • Music submissions must be in .mp3 format only.  No WMA files.
  • The title of each mp3 include your last name, WesID, and instrument.
  • Any video submissions must be DVD Only (Region 1 coding).  There is no guarantee that any uploaded video will be viewed.
  • If necessary include a text file describing your involvement in each submission
  • Please do not both mail material and request a folder; either mail all of your material or upload all of your material.

Please submit by the application program deadlines (Nov. 15 for ED1 and Jan. 1 for ED2 and Regular admission).  Material received after these deadlines will not be reviewed.
