OUTSIDE
WESLEYAN:

The past two summers, I've spent a significant amount of time in India, doing research on Microfinance at the Institute of South Asian Studies, Singapore. I've also interned with the Institute of Policy Studies at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore, undertaking research on Creative Industries in South East Asia.  In addition, I am a member of the United World College National Committee in Singapore and volunteer at the Singapore Indian Development Association and with the Initiative for Peace: Focus on Kashmir and Sri Lanka programmes.  I am also in the reserve corps of the Singapore Air Force.

AFTER
WESLEYAN:

I am interested in starting off in the Finance Industry, before moving on to graduate school to study Development Economics.  I then intend to focus on development and public policy in South and South-East Asia, particularly in the areas of Microfinance and other rural banking initiatives. I would also like to pursue my passion for South Indian music that I have cultivated at Wesleyan, by taking further voice lessons after college.
