SOC Leadership Lunch
Time: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Location: Russell House

Participants will meet current student leaders, faculty, and staff of color. They will learn about various Wesleyan affinity groups, organizations, and clubs, and about offices on campus that provide student services.

STEM Bridge to Wesleyan 2014 Information Session
Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Location: Exley Science Center 221 (Physics Conference Room)

If you are interested in majoring in science or math at Wesleyan, come to this information session on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Bridge to Wesleyan 2014 to learn about an exciting new initiative to support the success and achievement of the most talented students pursuing science and math at Wesleyan. Beginning with a Summer Program, this select group of students will be guided through a challenging curriculum with workshops, faculty mentors, and special programming their first two years at Wesleyan. At this session, you will learn more about the unique opportunity offered by STEM Bridge to Wesleyan and how to apply to the program. Pre-science and math students, especially those from groups historically underrepresented in these fields-women, first-generation college, low-income, and racial and ethnic minorities-are strongly encouraged to apply. Meet Your Host

If you have made arrangements through the Office of Admission to stay overnight on campus, this is the time when you'll meet your host.  Bring a great attitude and enthusiastic spirit to this gathering of accepted students and hosts.  Confirmed pre-registration is required. Please bring your signed medical form and be prompt.

Ajua Campos
Time: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: Hewitt 9 Lounge

Join us for a mixer with music and snacks with our members and other incoming students. We will also have an informal conversation about being students of color at Wesleyan.

Ujamaa
Time: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: 41 Wyllys, Room 115

Come to Ujamaa for a collective meeting/get-together for Wesfest visitors and prospective students. We will open up the rrom and provide a space for people to gather, meet the Ujamaa members, and ask any questions related to Ujamaa or navigating the campus as a SOC.

Taste of Middletown Dinner/Senior Panel
Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Location: Daniel Family Commons

Enjoy the delicious dining options that Middletown has to offer and meet current Wesleyan seniors who already have exciting futures planned after graduation. This is an honest and informative discussion about how their lives at Wes (academic, extracurricular, and social) have inspired their futures. Students only.

SUSS (Society of Underrepresented Students in STEM) Meet and Greet
Time: 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: Observatory 110

SUSS (Society of Underrepresented Students in STEM) will have a meet and greet and panel with the SUSS board members to talk about issues surrounding STEM diversity and act as an ally to interested incoming students.

Chinese Board Game Club
Time: 8:00pm – 10:00pm
Location: PAC (Public Affairs Center) 125

The Chinese Board Game Club will offer the opportunity to play Chinese board games, including Mahjong, Legends of the Three Kingdoms, The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow, Who is the Hero, etc.

Fashion Show
Time: 9:00pm – 11:00pm
Location: Fayerweather, Beckham Hall

All the action will be on the runway as Wesleyan students show off their talents as both designers and models in our annual Student of Color Fashion Show. All are welcome.
