WHY I CHOSE WES:
|
I applied here through ED mainly because of the
accepting nature of the student body and the strong academic program. Wesleyan
has the biggest international student community and is the most diverse campus
among many liberal arts colleges. Everybody is very nice to each other, and
anyone with different backgrounds can find their places on campus.
|
ACADEMIC INTERESTS:
|
I have been interested in economics since high
school, and therefore decided to further study it here. At Wesleyan, I found myself
particularly interested in political science; we call it government here. In
China, it is very hard to get access to information about politics,
but I can easily get it by taking the government classes here. Therefore, I am
very glad that Wesleyan gives me the chance to know more about this world from
a different perspective. |
FAVORITE CLASS:
|
Comparative Politics
of Modern Europe. This is an amazing course; I learned so
much about European politics from taking this course. Professor Williarty is
very enthusiastic about the material and good at making it interesting.

WHY I CHOSE TO BE A TOUR GUIDE:
|
Wesleyan has offered me a lot. I found out
what I am passionate about at Wesleyan and met a lot of smart peers. I want to
share my Wesleyan experience with others and let them know why they should
choose this place.
