WHY I CHOSE WES:
I wanted to go to a school where I felt energized by my fellow students and challenged by my academic pursuits. Wesleyan was the place where I was most comfortable and felt I could really thrive. Something I noticed while visiting colleges was that Wesleyan is the best of every world; it compromises on nothing and offers seemingly infinite opportunities, I liked that.
ACADEMIC
INTERESTS:

My English major concentration is American Literature. Aside from English and Environmental Studies, I find myself drawn to Art History, History, and French. I have been studying French since high school and am fascinated by the language.

FAVORITE CLASS:

I took a class sophomore year called Imagining the American South. It was an English class all about the incredible and diverse works of literature that have come out of such a geographically specific, and often overlooked region. The class really opened my eyes to the diversity of American, and specifically southern, literature.

ACTIVITIES:

Co-ed Ultimate Frisbee Team
Outing Club
Various writing projects

WHY I CHOSE TO BE A TOUR GUIDE:
I like going on long walks and learning new facts about Wesleyan.
