Information Sessions and Campus Tours

The Office of Admission is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (summer hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm). All events begin at the Stewart M. Reid House, 70 Wyllys Avenue in Middletown.

Online registration for tours and information sessions is encouraged but not required. Click here to view daily schedules, confirm availability and register. Please note that tours and information sessions may run on a reduced schedule during holidays, exams, school breaks and during academic transition periods.


Join an admission dean and a current student for a discussion on Wesleyan, the admission process, and financial aid. During the summer and when school is in session, information sessions are offered Monday through Friday at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm. In the fall, sessions are also offered on Saturdays at 10:00 am.


Student-led tours are generally offered at least once per day.

If you cannot join us on campus to take a tour in person, we have an app for that! Take a virtual stroll around campus with relevant information and student stories at each stop to bring a bit of Wesleyan to wherever you are. To take the tour, type into your mobile device's browser. The tour is also compatible with Google Chrome.


Tours of the Center for Film Studies are offered on most Fridays between January 29 and April 29, 2016 at 11:45 a.m.  Pre-registration is not needed.  Tours will meet in front of the Rick Nicita Gallery in the Center for Film Studies.

Private group tours may be scheduled year-round with a one month advance notice. Group visits are offered to high schools and community based organizations serving grade levels 9th-12th.

Tours are one hour and fifteen minutes and Information Sessions are one hour in length. Limited dining options are available. The maximum tour size we can accommodate is 60 people including chaperones.

Middle school students in grades 7 and 8 will be accommodated only during the month of November, the first week of May and the month of June. Tours are one hour and Information Sessions are a half hour in length. If preferred, a Question & Answer Session may be substituted for the Information Session. There are no dining options available for middle school students.

Wesleyan's student-run organic farm at Long Lane will offer tours on Tuesdays between September 15 and November 17, 2015. Tours will begin at 9:30am at the farm and will last approximately 30 minutes.

Visitors are responsible for their own transportation. The farm is located at the intersection of Wadsworth Street and Long Lane and can be reached by following Cross Street south from Freeman Athletic Center. If you are using a GPS, the farm’s address is 281 Long Lane, Middletown CT. Parking is available in the lot across from the Rugby Field.
