Campus Tours and Information Sessions

The Office of Admission is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (summer hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm).  All events begin at the Stewart M. Reid House, 70 Wyllys Avenue in Middletown. Visitors can choose to register in advance online or drop-in and attend an information session and/or tour. High school seniors wishing to schedule an interview must regisier online (link below) or by calling the admission office.

When planning your visit in advance, please click here to view and register for tours and information sessions and to select interview times available on the day of your visit. Be sure to register online at least 24 hours prior to the date of your visit. Same day online registration is not available.

Tours and information sessions may run on a reduced schedule during holidays, exams, school breaks and during academic transition periods. Please note that registration is NOT required for a campus visit.

Campus Tours

Student-led tours are offered at least once a day during most weeks.  In the summer, campus tours are offered Monday through Friday at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm.  Weekend tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00 pm.  In the fall, campus tours are offered Monday through Friday at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

Information Sessions

Join an admission dean and a current student for a discussion on Wesleyan, the admission process, and financial aid.  During the summer and when school is in session information sessions are offered Monday through Friday at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm.  In the fall sessions are also offered on Saturdays at 10:00 am.

Film Studies Building Tours

Tours of the Film Studies Building are offered on most Fridays starting at the end of September through the end of November at 11:45 a.m. There will be no Film Studies Building tours offered during the summer months, Fall Break and the Thanksgiving weekend.

Special Group Visits (Groups of 8 to a maximum of 50 people)

Private group tours may be scheduled year-round with a one month advance notice.  Group visits are offered to high school and community based organizations serving grade levels 9th-12th.  Tours are one hour and fifteen minutes and Information Sessions are one hour in length.  Limited dining options are available.  The maximum tour size we can accommodate is 60 people including chaperones.

Middle School students in grades 7 and 8 will be accommodated only during the month of November, the first week of May and the month of June.  Tours are one hour and Information Sessions are a half hour in length.  If preferred, a Question & Answer Session may be substituted for the Information Session.  There are no dining options available for middle school students.
