Michael S. Roth ’78 became Wesleyan’s 16th president in 2007. He is currently teaching a course entitled The Past on Film, which examines how films represent the past and how they can help us understand crucial questions in the philosophy of history. The course is cross listed in the Film Studies, History, and Philosophy departments. And check out his blog, Roth On Wesleyan.
