Is the Career Resource Center (CRC) relevant to me?

Whether you switch jobs ten times in as many years, stay in one company, switch industries or cities, pursue an advanced degree (or three), or just want to talk about your options, Wesleyan and the CRC can help.

How can I get fellow alumni to give me a job?

Well, they won’t just give you a job, but for starters check out the CRC’s Guide to Networking where you’ll find a Networking Cheat Sheet and a link to WesCAN, Wesleyan’s Career Advisor Network. Join the Wesleyan Alumni Group on LinkedIn and finally, search for jobs posted by Wes alumni (and others!) by signing up for Cardinal Jobs.

Ok, it looks like I need to go to graduate school…

We can help with that too, just click here.

“If they Google me I’m screwed” & other tales from today’s job market

Even when you know what you want, sometimes you need someone to talk to about career management and planning. Call (860) 685-2180 for more information and an appointment.

Networking

The CRC looks to connect young alumni with fellow alumni of all ages through panels and networking events. You can make a connection on your own based on your major or location. WesNet’s alumni directories will get you started.
