  3. Select either POP3 or IMAP. (What's the difference? POP is an older, light-weight protocol that is designed to hold your mail on the server until you check it, and then to delete it once you download the mail to your computer. IMAP is a newer, more interactive protocol that enables you to view your mail on the server from your computer. IMAP is ideal for people who use more than one computer to check their e-mail with a program like Outlook or Eudora. In this case it works best to configure both instances of Outlook to use IMAP.)

    • Your Name: Firstname Lastname

    • Incoming Mail Server: username.mail.wesleyan.edu
    • Outgoing Mail Server: username.post.wesleyan.edu
    • Username: username
