of Earth and Environmental Sciences Dr. Peter C. Patton
and University of Arizona Associate Professor of Geosciences and
Planetary Sciences
Dr. David A. Kring for a three-day exploration of Northern Arizona’s
many natural wonders. Enjoy the world’s largest ponderosa pine
forest and take a guided tour into Barringer Meteorite Crater, the
region’s nearly mile-wide impact crater. Explore cliff dwellings,
visit the Lowell Observatory where the planet Pluto was first
discovered, and make an unforgettable trip to Arizona’s own World
Heritage Site, the Grand Canyon.
