VILLAGE LIFE IN MEDIEVAL BRUGES
Explore the cultural heritage and rich history of the western region of Flanders, Belgium on this new Village Life travel program. From your base in Bruges, experience some of Europe’s great artistic attractions including St. Bavo’s Cathedral in Ghent, the medieval wonders of Lille, France, the home of Peter Paul Rubens in Antwerp, the Gothic marvels of Brussels, and tours and cruises in Bruges itself. Throughout the program, stay at the charming Crowne Plaza Brugge, built on the foundations of a 12th-century church, that offers the best of Flemish hospitality and modern comforts. To enhance your enjoyment of the region, participate in a specially arranged “Village Life” discussion with local residents about life in Flanders, and sample the region’s delicacies, including chocolate, beer and, of course, waffles at specially arranged tastings.
