VILLAGE LIFE ALONG THE SEINE RIVER
Experience the scenery and history of the French province of Normandy while cruising the Seine from Paris to the port of Honfleur and back. In Paris, view such famous landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame during a memorable tour of the city. Then voyage through the picturesque French countryside into the heart of Normandy and enjoy excursions to impressionist painter Claude Monet’s authentically restored home in Giverny, the historic Château Gaillard in Les Andelys, and the Gothic and Romanesque cathedrals of Caudebec and Rouen. See Normandy’s historic beaches, where you will come to appreciate the extraordinary courage of the Allied forces during the D-Day invasion, and learn about life in the Seine Valley during a “Village Forum” with local residents.
