2011 Alumni Trustee Elections

The 2011 Alumni Trustee Election has concluded.

From the Nominating Committee

Each year, Wesleyan’s alumni are given the opportunity to elect three trustees to the University’s Board of Trustees to serve a three-year term, and I urge you to participate in this important process. Nearly one third of Wesleyan’s board is elected directly by alumni, giving graduates the privilege of helping guide the direction of the University.

As always, this year’s slate of nominees includes individuals of accomplishment who represent a range of expertise, backgrounds, and ages. They share a strong commitment to Wesleyan and to making our University ever stronger and better.

Electing new trustees prompts gratitude for the service of those whose terms will expire in July of this year. They are Sid A. Espinosa ’94, Joseph Haddad Jr. ’78, and Paul S. Mason ’77. Remaining alumni-elected trustees are David M. Bartholomew ’81, P’14; Phoebe C. Boyer ’89; Michael S. Lewis ’03; Michelle A. Lyn ’84, P’12, MD; Ilana Wind Newell ’94; and Ellen E. Remmer ’75, P’12.
