Joseph J. Fins
Joseph J. Fins, M.D. is Chief of Medical Ethics at New York Presbyterian -Weill Cornell Medical Center where he is also Professor of Medicine and Public Health. A practicing internist and medical ethicist, Joe has worked to improve end-of-life care through scholarly and public policy work. He was appointed by President Clinton to the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy.
Joe serves on the Alumni Association’s Executive Committee and was chair of the Association’s Trustee Nominating Committee. He received a Wesleyan University Alumni Service Award and has delivered the Hallie Memorial Lecture in the College of Letters.
