Kate Quigley Lynch
Kate Quigley Lynch has been an active and involved Wesleyan volunteer since her graduation. Her service to Wesleyan includes: Chair of the Alumni Association (2000-2002), Vice-Chair of the Alumni Association, Chair of the Binswanger Teaching Prize Committee, Chair of the WeSeminar Committee, President of the Wesleyan Club of Greater Hartford, Member of the Alumni Schools Committee and Annual Fund Agent. Kate is also an active community volunteer. Appearing before the Town Council and School Board on numerous occasions, she spearheaded a campaign to replace and update 26 town owned playgrounds. She has also served as President of the West Hartford Newcomers’ Club. After her graduation from Wesleyan, she received an MBA from the University of Connecticut. Formerly Finance Director of the Greater Hartford Arts Council and Administrator of the Connecticut Hazardous Waste Management Service, Kate is currently at home raising her four children, ages 7 through 12.
