Sid Espinosa ’94

Sid Espinosa ’94 Sid is the mayor of Palo Alto, California. With extensive experience in corporate social responsibility, philanthropy and public policy, he was named one of the Silicon Valley’s “40 Under 40” by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Sid also serves as the director of corporate citizenship for the Microsoft Corporation, and was previously the director of global philanthropy for Hewlett-Packard Company, where he also lead governmental strategy and communications. Prior to joining HP, Sid worked at an American embassy overseas, at the White House during the Clinton Administration, and at the U.S. Department of Justice as an advisor to U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno. Sid serves on several international, national, and local nonprofit and business boards.
At Wesleyan: Sid served as a resident advisor, Ebony Singer, MeChA co-chair and senior interviewer as an undergraduate. He has also been actively involved in Wesleyan alumni activities, including admission interviews, phonathons, and local alumni events.
