The Center for the Americas houses Wesleyan's American Studies and Latin American Studies majors.  Located in the middle of campus at 255 High Street, the Center has offices for faculty and fellows, three seminar rooms, a student lounge and library.  The purpose of the Center is to develop an interdisciplinary comparative paradigm for the study of the Americas that will provide a model for the reorganization of American Studies and Latin American Studies in the twenty-first century.
