SBC grants student groups less money than in the past

In its first ever published report, the Student Budget Committee (SBC) itemized its allocations to 169 student groups. On average, the SBC granted 48.39 percent of what the groups requested–a 1.5 percent decrease from last year.

On April 3 the Argus ran an article entitled "Asian-American Students Ponder Alienation at Wes" which has launched a firestorm of responses from both Asian and Asian American students who feel that they and the convocation ceremony the article covered were unfairly represented.
