Studies;
Administrative approval awaits Bennet’s confirmation

A Queer Studies program appears to be on its way. A new faculty position within the American Studies Department was approved by the Office of Academic Affairs on Thursday,
according to sources. As of Friday morning the program did not have full confirmation from the Administration, but Academic Affairs has authorized the program, according to students
in contact with faculty who had pushed for a Queer Studies program.

by the plethora of tables surrounded by colorful posters and covered with pamphlets, providing a welcoming feeling to all who walked though its doors.
