Hemp dinner at Earth House By Chris Clark Come to Earth House! Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. Students for Sensible Drug Policy will be baking all day long, slaving away at ovens and such, to make YOU fresh whole-grain hemp bread and desserts. The Earth House Veg-Out Culinary Team will be preparing a succulent main dish of pasta and veggies and sauce and stuff. Formal attire not required but please bring yer own utensils and tupperware. This dinner is being held in honor of recent DEA policy changes, which have made all consumable hemp products with any trace amount of THC prohibited in the USA. Which, of course, means all consumable hemp products. Another backwards-ass attempt to demonize what is quite possibly the most versatile, useful plant on the planet. So, primarily for the good eats and great peeps, come down to veg out on Thursday night. Keep in mind that you may not have the chance to enjoy good hemp cooking again for a while. Damn the man. Clark is a member of the class of 2002.
