| You’re wrong, Miller By Joanna Lawler In response to Cory Miller’s November 9th wespeak: four and a half years ago I was educated about the horrors of eating meat and the benefits of a meat-free diet. I have not eaten meat since. It is logical that upon recognizing a problem, one does what she or he can to fix it. Animal abuse will continue with the help of indolent bystanders such as Miller who are “completely for reforming the meat industry” but who are not willing to act upon that desire. However, fewer animals suffer with each individual that becomes vegetarian. You’re wrong, Miller — with thousands of animals constantly being saved by those who change their diet, the WARN “crusade” is acheived daily. Lawler is a member of the class of 2005.
