Father Gerald Cohen remembered and missed

Reverend Gerald Philip Cohen died of a heart attack on Saturday, May 6 while visiting family in Massachusetts. Word of Father Cohen’s unexpected death reached the Wesleyan campus on Sunday, when Michael Whaley, dean of student services, informed the community of the sad news through a bulletin broadcast.    tri  more...

When we started this two years ago, we had a lot of neat and good ideas about the Ampersand. We were excited and full of youngful ambition. We wanted to create something shockingly different.
Something alarmingly different. Our motto in those early days was "Imitation Never, Innovation Now, Comedy Now!" We would have long talks about how we wanted to take the ‘Me’ out of Comedy and put the ‘We’ back in Wesleyan Comedy!

Wesleyan crew returns victorious from NEC

Fifth place seemed to be the most popular ranking for Wesleyan’s crew team at the New England Championship in Worcester, Mass, last weekend. The women’s varsity eight boat was the only crew to medal, finishing in second place.

For the Record
‘A friend of mine took a picture of all the holes and then got a map of the school. Then he put lines on the map to show the course, and he put the pictures by each hole. I framed it last year. It’s the only piece of memorabilia I have left from Wesleyan-- I don’t even know where my diploma is.’
