Aramark worker layoffs prompt USLAC action

Approximately 45 students and dining service workers joined forces in a meeting Monday night to discuss Aramark’s decision to eliminate positions and reduce hours of many employees. The jobs in jeopardy were those of workers in MoConaughy Hall (MoCon), the Davenport Campus Center and Summerfields.

Women’s volleyball meets Engineers at the ECAC finals

When all the cheering had subsided, after the final tears were shed, and the trophy presented to the winners, one could not help but wonder - was it destiny? This past weekend, the women’s volleyball team avenged last year’s first round Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament loss to MIT by beating the Engineers 3-1 in the championship game.
