Wespeaks:
Eclectic to sell tickets for Halloween

by Matt Flament, Zach Whedon, and Lex Kravitz

The Eclectic Society, under the watchful eye of Public Safety, is again required to sell tickets for our annual Halloween party, transpiring on the evening of Saturday, October 28, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Eclectic will sell tickets for the party in order to limit attendance to the occupancy of the building. Tickets have been limited to 350. Public Safety is also requiring a
Middletown police officer to be present at the door throughout the course of the party. Although the Eclectic Society has been successful with non-ticketed events in the past, which allow a greater number of Wesleyan Students to attend, problems in past years have motivated the Administration’s request for a limited attendance to the event.

Because of the limited ticket sales and the expense of the police officer, tickets will be $4 this year. Tickets will be sold at the campus center during the lunch hours from October 23rd through October 26th. An equal number of tickets will be sold each day and will be limited to four per person. Those arriving without tickets on the night of the vent will not be admitted.

Cheers.

Flament, Whedon, and Kravitz are members of the class of 2001 and the Eclectic Society.
