New electronic portfolio aims for student organization

Unveil your resume to potential employers, discover big events on
campus, organize your hectic schedule with an electronic calendar,
contact your advisor and even display your ability to articulate a foreign
language with just one click of your mouse. What might sound too good
to be true will soon be available from the University’s new electronic
portfolio.

Thumbs up to E-portfolio
On Monday, Sept. 26, the University will unveil its electronic portfolio,
which will allow students to post academic and extracurricular
information about themselves on the web. Students will be able to create
their own profile by sharing their academic goals and interests with faculty
and staff.

Dario Fo Center Stage

In their first joint US performance since 1986, Dario Fo and Franco
Rame graced the stage of the CFA theatre this past week. Fo, who
won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1997, performed selections from his
piece "Mistero Buffo," while Rame, Fo’s wife, performed the American
premiere of "Sex? Thanks, Don’t Mind If I Do."

Offense runs wild in field hockey win

The women’s field hockey team crushed the competition at home on
Wednesday, handily defeating Elms College 5-0.
The Cardinals, who are 3-2 this season, had the opportunity to practice
their scoring skills. The Wesleyan offense ferociously attacked Elms’
defense, led by sophomore Sonya Behnke.

Clarification
The Argus reported that in last Saturday’s women’s volleyball tournament, Wesleyan lost the first 3 games. In fact, Wes won the second and third games and the match was decided by a slim margin in the fifth game to William’s favor. The Argus apologizes to the players and coach for this misinformation.

In the Sept. 19 issue, Jung Cho and Joe Dalton were mistakenly said to be of the class of 2001. They are actually from the class of 1991.
