Keck Consortium

Wesleyan is a member of the Keck Northeast Astronomy Consortium (KNAC) which is composed of eight predominantly undergraduate institutions in the northeast which have banded together to support undergraduate astronomy education. In addition to Wesleyan the members are: Colgate, Haverford, Middlebury, Swathmore, Vassar, Wellesley, and Williams. Activities include a summer research program for students and yearly meetings of faculty and students. Members also collaborate on research projects and share teaching ideas. The consortium is funded by the W. M. Keck Foundation. Additional information is available on their the KNAC website .
