Joe Giaimo '11 is 1st-Team All-NESCAC, 2nd-Team D3Baseball.com - Donnie Cimino '15 is 2nd Team all-NESCAC, Third-Team all-N.E.

For the second straight season, Joe Giaimo '11 (#9, left side photo) was named first-team all-NESCAC in baseball following a vote of the conference head coaches. He also got a nod to the D3Baseball.com all-New England second team. Joining Giaimo with NESCAC recognition was Donnie Cimino '15 (#11, right side photo), who received second-team honors. In addition, Cimino was named to the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) all-star third team. Leading the NESCAC in hits (57), doubles (16) and RBI (51) in 2012, Giaimo was fifth in the NESCAC with his .388 batting average. A year ago, Giaimo, who began the season in left field this year but finished up as the Cardinals' first baseman, hit .357. Leading Wesleyan in home runs (5) and runs scored (38) as well as hits, doubles and RBI in 2012, Giaimo, a four-year starter who missed the 2009 campaign due to injury but used his year of eligibility as a grad student this year, ended his career with 172 hits to rank fifth all-time at Wesleyan.
