Cardinals Dominate All-NESCAC Baseball with Six Honorees Including Coach of the Year Mark Woodworth

Wesleyan dominated the all-NESCAC baseball squad in 2013 with six honorees including Coach of the Year Mark Woodworth (head shot upper middle) and first-team picks Donnie Cimino '15 (right action photo) and Andrew Yin '15 (left action photo). Bowdoin had four individuals receive recognition while Trinity and Amherst had three apiece as the four teams to compete in the NESCAC tournament. Named to the second-team were Sam Goodwin-Boyd '15, Nick Cooney '15 and Jeff Blout '14. Woodworth earned his second NESCAC reward as he was Coach of the Year in 2002 after leading the Cardinals to the NESCAC tournament with a 10-2 conference record in his first season at the helm. Wesleyan went 21-16 that year. Over his 12 seasons at Wesleyan, Woodworth has compiled a 204-222-5 record with five winning campaigns and a 75-67-2 NESCAC West mark with five trips to the NESCAC tournament.
