Cardinals have Experience and Talent to Challenge for NESCAC Crown in 2012
The 2012 Wesleyan baseball team is inspiring optimism, thanks to a foundation of standout work ethic, combined with leadership and experience. The entire pitching staff returns along with five starters in the field, and will be complemented by an exceptional freshman class. Wesleyan will spend two weeks on its spring trip in Arizona, playing 15 games, before returning back home to Connecticut with 22 games, plus the potential of playoffs. With one of the best strength of schedules in New England, the squad will be tested and challenged while looking to bring home a NESCAC title. While the Western swing start with a double-header against Albright Sun., March 11, the local schedule inaugurates against Bowdoin Sat., March 31 in Maine.
