Formally dedicated as the Biddiscombe Wrestling Room on October 19, 2012, the room in the far southwest corner of the Freeman Athletic Center is the home of the wrestling team's daily practices from November through March. The 4,000-square-foot facility is used for a multitude of activity during the year, ranging from aerobics, tae kwon do, yoga, Pilates and the martial arts as well as others. The room is named after John Biddiscombe, who joined the Wesleyan athletic staff in 1974 and spent 38 years employed at the college, 15 of them as head wrestling coach (1974-1989) and 24 as Director of Athletics (1988-2012). He was inducted into the Wesleyan Athletics Hall of Fame in October, 2012.
