Named for K. Tucker Andersen '63, the
Andersen Track is a 400-meter all-weather track and home
for the Wesleyan men's and women's outdoor track and
field teams. The interior of Andersen Track had been used for field
hockey games through the 2005 season but field hockey has since been
relocated to the new synthetic turf field to the southwest of the track. The Andersen track has been used for regional
meets, including the ECAC women's track and field
championships and the men's and women's NESCAC
championships. Area high schools also have used the
Andersen Track for their competitions.
