Completed in 1990 as part of the Freeman
Athletic Center, the Wesleyan Natatorium is home for
Wesleyan's men's and women's swimming and diving teams.
With a 50-meter x 25-yard pool, the Natatorium has nine
lanes available for collegiate meets and seven lanes for
long-course events. The diving well has two one-meter
boards and two three-meter boards. Used consistently over
the years for New England Division III Championships, the
Wesleyan Natatorium was the site of the 1995 NCAA
Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships,
and now is a main site for the annual NESCAC Championship
meets. Wesleyan Natatorium also has been used for
numerous state and regional club long-course meets and
CIAC state championships.
