Morgan McCauley '12 Earns 2nd-team All-NESCAC Field Hockey Honors for 3rd Year in a Row and is Joined by Liz Chabot '12 on NFHCA Regonal Squad
Leading Wesleyan in scoring for the second time in the last three seasons, Morgan McCauley '12 (#21, photo) received second-team all-NESCAC honors for the third consecutive season. She collected 10 goals and added five assists for 25 points in 2011, matching her scoring numbers from the 2010 season exactly. In 2009, when she first earn all-NESCAC laurels, she tallied nine goals along with four assists for 22 points. For her career, she has 29 goals and 16 assists for 74 points. McCauley was a key ingredient in the Cardinals' success over the last three years as the team went a collective 26-19 with three straight winning marks. Wesleyan was a perfect 14-0 vs. non-NESCAC rivals over the stretch and had a 12-16 regular-season NESCAC record.
