Don Lowery
Former Vice-President for Player Development & Community Affairs,
New England Patriots

Wesleyan University, Class of 1977  

     Don Lowery was named vice-president of player development and community affairs for the New England Patriots in 1998, having joined their staff in 1994 as director of public and community relations.  A four year hockey goalie during his time at Wesleyan, Don was the starting netminder during the 1974-75 season. Following graduation from Wesleyan, Don spent 14 years as a journalist, including editorial director and director of public affairs at WHDH-TV in Boston. Prior to that, he served as vice-president of public finance of the Boston office of the First Albany Corporation, an investment banking firm. After leaving the Patriots in 2002, Don returned to the TV market as Director of Communications for WBZ-TV in Boston and has since assumed the position of vice-president for communications and public affairs for Neilsen Media Research in New York City.
