Notes: Williams limited Wesleyan to just 31 first-half yards while rolling up 266 of its own and turned two Wesleyan fumbles into TDs en route to a 34-0 halftime lead. The teams played the second half even statistically and on the scoreboard as Williams remained undefeated with the 41-7 triumph. Williams and Amherst meet next week with the Little Three title on the line. A Williams victory would give the Ephs their second straight crown. An Amherst win would force a three-way tie. After holding Williams on its first series, Wesleyan forced a punt which was misplayed by Wesleyan's Pat Moffett and recovered by Williams Johnny Kelly at the Wesleyan 23. Two Mike Hackett runs, the second for 17 yards, resulted in six points. A 32-yard pass down the left side on 4th-and-6 from Joe Reardon to John Siff late in the first quarter made it 13-0. Tim Crawley's 15-yard run capped a 49-yard, seven-play drive at 6:50 of the second quarter and the score stood 20-0. Another short march, this time 40 yards on five plays, ended with a 20-yard Reardon to Ryan Friend catch in the left corner of the endzone and a 27-0 edge with 1:43 left in the half. When Wesleyan fumbled the ensuing kickoff at the Wesleyan 18, Williams added a four-yard TD strike from Reardon to Jamaal Mobley for the halftime bulge. Wesleyan drove 94 yards for its third quarter TD, using eight plays, including a 49-yard pass from Brennan Carney to Pat Moffett. The TD came on a six-yard pass to Sam Fletcher with 7:06 showing on the clock. Carney, who was sacked nine times in the game, coughed up the ball at the Wesleyan four-yard line late in the third period, and Hackett did the honors on the next play for the final margin with 1:18 to go in the third period. Hackett paced Williams on the ground with 16 carries for 96 yards. This was the ninth straight win for Williams over Wesleyan at Weston Field in Williamstown.
