Drew Dominguez '09 (#21, main photo) made a pair of interceptions vs. Williams during the Homecoming game in Middletown Sat., Nov. 3, one of which he returned 56 yards for a TD during the third quarter. Also scoring for the Cardinals was Lane Kirshe '10 (#1, photo insert lower right) on a one-yard run, capping a 37-yard drive set up by a Pete Overman '09 fumble recovery. It wasn't enough to overcome the streaking Ephs, however, who win their fifth game in a row this season with a 33-13 victory. The game was played in a horrible wind-driven rain as the remnants of hurricane Noel moved up the Northeast coastline. Kirshe finished the day with six carries for 22 yards and five catches for 40 yards. Quarterback Zach Librizzi '08 added 161 yards of total offense to his career figures as he threw for 134 yards while running for 27 more. Wesleyan will close out the 2007 campaign with a trip to Hartford to take on Trinity Sat., Nov. 10.
