Shasha Brown '13 is 1st Team All-NESCAC with Other Regional Honors, Mike Callaghan '13 is 2nd Team after Stellar Men's Basketball Season

Following a stellar 20-6 season, the winningest in Wesleyan men's basketball history, two Cardinals received NESCAC post-season honors. Shasha Brown '13 (right-side photo) was named to the first team, his third straight season with NESCAC laurels. He was a second-team pick in 2010-11 and was named Rookie of the Year following the 2009-10 campaign. Selected for the NESCAC second team was Mike Callaghan '13 (left-side photo). It was his first post-season honor. Brown has been the Cardinals' leading scorer and assist maker each of his three seasons. With a 17.1 PPG average in 2011-12, he ranked fourth in the NESCAC for scoring. He dished out an average of 4.32 assists a game to rank third in the conference while his 1.52 steals per game placed him fifth. Shooting a solid 50.5 percent from the field, Brown ranked ninth in the NESCAC while his 76.7 free-throw percentage gave him 10th place.
