Chris Potter - Head Men's Ice Hockey Coach
Chris Potter, a 1993 graduate of the University of
Connecticut, will be in his 10th year of duty as head men's ice
hockey and
golf coach at Wesleyan in 2012-13 after serving in that capacity on an
interim basis
his first season in
2003-04. He is a full-time faculty member with the rank of adjunct
associate professor.
An assistant ice hockey coach and recruiting coordinator at Brown University from 1998 through 2003, Chris was a four-year ice hockey letterman, an All-American as a senior and a two-time all-ECAC and all-New England selection at UConn. He began his coaching career as an assistant at his alma mater from 1996-1998. For three years following his graduation, Chris was a member of the Roanoke Express in the Southern Division of the East Coast Hockey League. Roanoke was affiliated with the San Jose Sharks of the NHL during Chris' playing days. |
