HIGHLIGHTS - Wesleyan had nine top-eight individual finishes during the NESCAC
championships and two team records were set. Both records came in the free
relay as the team of Jeff Stein '08, Dan Storms '10, Chris Becker '09 and Mike
Pepi '08 combined for a fourth-place finish in the 200 free relay, timed in
1:24.45, and a sixth-place showing in the 400 free relay with a 3:09.00
clocking. Both times eclipsed marks set by the same quartet during the
2007 NESCAC meet. Michael Bailey '11 led the way in individual events by
placing seventh in three events - the 200 and 400 IM as well as the 200 breast.
Diver Dave Wilkinson '09 had the highest finish by a Cardinal capturing third in
the one-meter board while also placing sixth in the three-meter event.
J.P. Valette '10 grabbed eighth on the three-meter board. Pepi nailed down
sixth place in the 50 free, Dana Drost '11 was eighth in the 200 IM and Storms
secured eighth in the 200 free. Link to complete
